Johnathan Huang is a ceramicist, illustrator, and art director based in Brooklyn, NY. His work transitioned from 2D to 3D only recently, and is a part of his ongoing search for answers as a means of existing in this world. Anthropomorphic frogs find themselves as the stars of this universe as a way to simplify the complexity of the human experience. He relies on these uncomplicated forms to express complicated feelings, like the search for safety, love, and belonging in a world that's not always welcoming.
